Viceroy Los Cabos

Viceroy Los Cabos

Heyyyyy y’all!!! We’re back at it again with another last minute trip lol! As most of you know we recently launched our DDLA online boutique which has been selling really well! So we decided to take a quick 4-day getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate and rock our new arrivals!

We flew the quick 2hr flight via American Airlines, and arranged transportation with the resort to be picked up by their car service.

We stayed at a new hotel in Cabo called the Viceroy. We might as well be natives to Cabo the way we come here so frequently. We usually stay at our timeshare which both of us have! This time we wanted a different atmosphere and after seeing tons of pics on ig (of course lol) we decided to give Viceroy a try!

The Viceroy Los Cabos DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I REPEAT THE VICEROY LOS CABOS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We came during the week so it would be less touristy and we’d be able to get pics without the awkward stares from on lookers lol. Y’all, there was nobody there!!! The pools which are open 24hrs were always empty! It felt like we had the resort to ourselves, we might’ve only saw about 20 other people at the resort our entire time there, and maybe about 5 kids! The resort grounds were emmaculant, there are 4 pools, and lots of water surrounding all of the walkways that you’ll see in the pics. Their spa and gym were also amazing (even though we didn’t use them, lol). Our room package came with complimentary breakfast which was DELICIOUS!!! We had everything from chilaquiluas, breakfast pizza, French toast, & even Japanese pancakes.. everything was sooooo good!

We spent the majority of our time lounging by the pool having tacos, guacamole, burgers, and casamigos. If you follow our Instagram’s you know the slogan! “Casamigos & Tajin All 2019!!!” We had dinner at what they would call their nicest restaurant located on the roof top. The food there was just ok, we had seabass and beef empanadas. We only ate there one night because the poolside food & room service was actually better. On our last night we went to “Nest” which is a Japanese restaurant that had a really nice ambiance, although it was pretty hot, we got a table by a fan and were satisfied with that! We had a chicken skewer (overpriced and literally just one skewer), miso soup, the catch of the day with rice noodles and veggies in a teriyaki sauce that wasn’t very impressive.

The hotel room itself was beautiful and super modern, providing Miami vibes which we loved! The balcony was equip with a day bed, bathtub and table for outdoor entertaining. The hotel is expanding adding villas which looked super nice. We will be back to stay in a villa forsure!

Our last morning we went  horseback riding on the beach for 30mins which cost ($40 USD). Initially the man said $25 per person but Bargain Berri strikes again and told him we only had $40, and he was happy with that! The horses were right outside of the hotel, on the beach front. No need to book a tour for this activity which is a major plus. Of course the ride was HOTTTTTT! But the views were beautiful! Looking at the ocean while we gallop down the sandy beach was definitely something we recommend for anyone visiting!

All and all this trip was VERY relaxing and we loved the accommodations at the Viceroy. We recommend the Viceroy for a relaxing chill stay if you’re looking to getaway and not be bothered with a lot of people lol.

We rate the Viceroy Los Cabos 9/10.
